The mobile game Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is teaming up with Final Fantasy IX on December 3rd. The collaboration will introduce Zidane, Vivi, Garnet, and Steiner as playable characters in a new event called Memories of Another Sky.
The event starts December 3rd at 3 PM PST / December 4th UTC with Aldo, the main character from Another Eden, unexpectedly appearing in Alexandria. To mark this collaboration, we’ll also be offering special rewards for logging in during the event.
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is now available on iOS, Android, and PC (Steam).

Starting December 3rd (PST) / December 4th (JST/UTC), Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is hosting a special event featuring characters from Final Fantasy IX! Players can control Zidane, Vivi, Garnet, and Steiner in this popular JRPG, which has been downloaded over 15 million times. Developed by Wright Flyer Studios, Another Eden is available on Steam for PC, as well as on iOS and Android devices.
In Another Eden, the main character, Aldo, is unexpectedly transported to a strange land called Alexandria. He’s rescued by Zidane and his traveling theater group, the Tantalus Troupe, and quickly becomes one of them. They’re preparing for a performance at Princess Garnet’s birthday, and along the way, they team up with Vivi, a mysterious Black Mage, and Steiner, the princess’s dedicated knight. This marks the beginning of their grand adventure.
Relive the charm of classic Final Fantasy with exciting new gameplay features inspired by Final Fantasy IX. Customize your characters – Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, and Steiner – with unique Support Abilities and enhance their powers using Magic Stones. Plus, discover the art of Synthesis, where you can combine equipment and items to forge even stronger gear. Keep an eye out for skilled Synthesists hidden in towns and dungeons to master this craft.
Keep up with what other characters from Final Fantasy IX are doing through Active Time Events. Pay attention to your chocobo to discover hidden treasures, like stone slabs with unique art, in the Chocobo Hot and Cold mini-game. You can also assist the Moogles with their mail delivery using the Mognet system.
To celebrate the new Memories of Another Sky event, players can earn up to 2,000 Chronos Stones! You’ll get 1,000 by completing the Memories of Another Sky questline, and you can earn up to another 1,000 just by logging in each day. The event lasts 20 days and ends on Tuesday, December 23rd at 2:59 PM UTC.
The winter update for Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space will launch on Steam for PC, the App Store for iOS devices, and Google Play for Android devices.
