Angry Orchard launches Valentine’s Day program that swaps your ex’s junk for cider cash

Angry Orchard is celebrating Valentine’s Day by offering a special promotion for those looking to get rid of items from previous relationships.

The cider company is running a unique program called “Ex-Change.” People can send in items left behind by exes and get money towards buying a new case of cider.

Starting February 2nd, customers can sign up on our website to get a free shipping kit. This kit includes everything you need to send us your items – packaging and a prepaid shipping label – to our cider house.

How Angry Orchard’s Ex-Change program works

With this promotion, people can send items belonging to their exes to the Angry Orchard Cider House. Angry Orchard will receive, sort, and donate these items. In return, participants will receive money to put towards buying a new case of Angry Orchard cider.

The campaign features examples like clothes, records, posters, and other things people often leave behind when a relationship ends.

Valentine’s Day can be tough, but Angry Orchard wants to help people enjoy the day, even if they’re going through a breakup. That’s why they created the ‘Ex-Change’ program, which lets people trade in reminders of past relationships for free cider to fill their fridge, according to Matt Withington, a marketing director at the brand.

Angry Orchard said all items submitted through the program will be donated after being processed.

This company is a leading cider maker in the US, crafting a variety of ciders from real apples. They also own a 60-acre orchard in New York’s Hudson Valley, where they experiment with new recipes and offer visitors a chance to experience cider making firsthand.

Valentine’s Day promotions this year are getting creative! McDonald’s is offering McNugget Caviar kits, Denny’s is giving away free weddings with a rock and roll theme, and Dunkin’ has a new holiday drink menu featuring an espresso inspired by ‘toxic exes.’
