Microsoft has added a lot of different games to Xbox and PC Game Pass for the latter half of September. But the biggest news is the return of an older favorite: Hades. Subscribers can start playing it today after it’s been unavailable for a while.
Hades is an action-packed dungeon crawler inspired by Greek mythology. You play as Zagreus, the son of Hades, determined to escape the underworld and reach Mount Olympus. As you journey through the depths, you’ll explore different areas, battle monsters, and become more powerful along the way.
Supergiant Games released their acclaimed game on September 17, 2020, and it quickly received overwhelmingly positive reviews – earning a 98/100 score and high praise from both players and critics. Since then, the game has become available on all major platforms. A sequel is launching on September 25th, and to celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary, it’s currently on sale on Steam.
