If you pay for an Amazon Prime Video subscription without ads, your monthly bill will soon be going up.
Starting soon, Amazon is increasing the price of its ad-free Prime Video plan from $2.99 to $4.99 per month. They’re also renaming it “Prime Video Ultra.”
Amazon Prime members can watch Prime Video, but the standard version includes ads. If you want to watch without interruptions, you’ll need to upgrade to an ad-free plan for $5 per month.
Prior to 2024, simply subscribing to Prime Video meant you could watch all its content ad-free.

Prime Video Ultra offers ad-free viewing, 4K streaming, and lets you watch on up to five devices at the same time. (Previously, the ad-free plan only allowed three streams.) You can also download up to 100 movies and shows to watch offline – that’s a huge library for your phone or laptop! Though, let’s be real, most people probably won’t download quite that many for a trip.
Amazon Prime members can now download up to 50 items and stream on four devices at the same time.
A typical Prime membership costs $139 per year. If you want to watch Prime Video without ads using that membership, it’ll bring your total cost to just under $200 annually. For those who only want Prime Video and don’t need the other Prime benefits—like free shipping—a standalone subscription costs $14.99 per month. This is a good option if you just want to watch shows like Bosch and its related series without buying anything else from Amazon.
The new Amazon Prime Ultra prices and specs go into effect on April 10.

America’s Funniest Home Videos
You can find America’s Funniest Home Videos on Plex, Pluto TV, and The Roku Channel. Before social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, this show—a long-running ABC program since 1989—was the place to watch funny and often silly mishaps.

Baywatch

Deal or No Deal
As a huge movie and TV fan, I always like to know where I can watch things, and it looks like you can find Deal or No Deal on Plex, Pluto TV, Roku, and Tubi. But here’s a fun fact: there are 605 episodes of the show! That adds up to over 302 and a half hours of content. If you really wanted to commit, you could theoretically watch it non-stop for more than 12 days without seeing a repeat! Now that’s a challenge…

You can watch this show on Pluto TV and Roku.
Few shows are as perfect for a dedicated channel as Gunsmoke. This classic Western ran for 20 seasons and over 600 episodes on CBS, making it the longest-running scripted primetime series ever—until The Simpsons took the title.

I Love Lucy
You can watch I Love Lucy on Pluto TV. Even though the show first aired almost 70 years ago, people still enjoy watching Lucy, Ricky, Ethel, and Fred’s hilarious adventures today.

The Price Is Right
As a classic game show fanatic, I was thrilled to see The Price Is Right getting the FAST treatment! And they’ve really thought of everything. There are actually two channels dedicated to the show. You can choose between the newer episodes hosted by Drew Carey, or go old-school with the legendary Bob Barker. It’s a fun little detail – you can even pick whether you want to watch in HD or stick with the vintage SD look, complete with all the 70s fashion! It’s a great way to revisit this iconic show whenever you want.

Star Trek
You can stream all kinds of classic Star Trek – the original series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager – on Pluto TV and Roku. There’s a dedicated 24/7 channel for each one! While binge-watching might not extend your lifespan, it’s a fun way to pass the time.
