Allyce Ozarski, a TV show producer known for her work on programs such as “The L Word: Generation Q” and “I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman,” passed away on January 24th in Los Angeles. She was 41 years old.
Ozarski died from triple negative metastatic breast cancer, her family confirmed.
Originally from California, she grew up in Poway, then pursued a degree in international studies and Italian at the University of Washington. An unexpected encounter with a TV director kick-started her career in entertainment.
In 2018’s Emmy Awards, Ozarski received a nomination in the exceptional variety sketch series category, for his role as producer of “I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman” on Hulu.
She served as a producer on “Problematic with Moshe Kasher” on Comedy Central, “SMILF” on Showtime, and “Baskets” on FX. She also executive produced the Showtime series “I Love That for You,” “Super Pumped,” and “The L Word: Generation Q.”

Marja-Lewis Ryan, the showrunner, director, writer, and executive producer of ‘The L Word: Generation Q’, expressed gratitude for having known, worked with, and collaborated with her. ‘Her confidence helped me become a stronger creator,’ she said, ‘and her remarkable patience made me a more effective parent.’ She referred to this person as my guiding light, or North Star.
Lately, Ozarski has been the executive producer for a new Netflix series titled “GOLF,” featuring Will Ferrell, and for an upcoming project by Vince Gilligan on Apple TV+. Additionally, Ozarski teamed up with Anna Dokoza to establish Funny Adjacent Productions.
In recent times, Ozarski is serving as the executive producer for Netflix’s latest show “GOLF” starring Will Ferrell and an upcoming Apple TV+ project by Vince Gilligan. Together with Anna Dokoza, he co-founded Funny Adjacent Productions.
Ozarski is mourned by her loving family: her husband Jonathan Haug, their adorable 4-year-old daughter Harley, as well as her caring parents Robert and Idelma Ozarski, and her dear brothers Adam and Marc Ozarski.
