With Pokémon Legends Z-A set to launch soon and details already leaked online, rumors are circulating about the next major Pokémon games and what they’ll include, according to a reliable source.
Okay, so things are going crazy in the Pokemon community right now! It looks like some development files for what people are calling Generation 10 just leaked online today, and everyone’s losing their minds trying to figure out what’s in them.
Information surfaced on various fan websites and file-sharing platforms, revealing internal documents that mention game titles and offer clues about their worlds, overall style, and gameplay.
Pokemon Winds and Waves are the alleged chosen titles
Leaked files suggest the new game will take place in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, based on early concepts from director Shigeru Ohmori in 2021. This differs from previous speculation that the game would be set in Greece.

The files suggest these games will be connected by a theme called “Infinity” and will introduce a new battle system called Tenko-Waza, which translates to something like “Weather Technique.”
Similar to previous Pokémon games, the new versions, Winds and Waves, will be distinct but related. Each game will feature a different Legendary Pokémon connected to the weather, and it seems you’ll need to nurture a special “Seed Pokémon” to interact with them.
Community moderators are working to remove links to the leaked files, as they believe the data may be private or illegally obtained. Despite these efforts, the leak remains a major topic of conversation online, with people analyzing file names and details for any hints about its origins.
Until Nintendo officially announces something, all of this is just based on rumors. But if these leaked files are real, it could be our first look at the next major Pokémon game after Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and potentially the first game only playable on the new Switch 2 console.
