The Pokémon TCG Pocket app is bringing back classic memories and powerful gameplay with its new Mega Rising expansion, which lets players use Mega Evolutions for the first time on mobile.
The Pokémon TCG is about to change significantly with the arrival of Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Altaria. These powerful Pokémon, along with a new set of cards, will likely reshape the competitive scene. Players will need to develop new strategies to take advantage of Mega Evolutions, and existing strategies will have to evolve quickly to stay relevant.
The excitement doesn’t end with the new cards! Mega Rising also makes it easier to share and trade cards with friends, and we’re celebrating the game’s first anniversary with special events and free card packs.
This is the fifth large expansion, coming after Wisdom of Sea and Sky, and marks the beginning of the B Series. All the new cards will be available on October 30, 2025.
