This covers all the playable characters currently available in Mario Tennis Aces. You can use them in many different game modes and on various courts.
The game features a lot of familiar faces, including characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Bowser, and Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong will appear with his updated look, which fans have seen in recent games like Mario Kart World and DK Bananza.
The game also includes fun characters like Petey Piranha (who I’d love to see in Mario Kart World!), Diddy Kong, and even younger versions of Wario and Waluigi. While Baby Wario debuted in Yoshi’s Island DS, this is the very first time Baby Waluigi has appeared in any Mario game.
The game might get downloadable content after it releases, though Nintendo hasn’t confirmed anything yet. We’ll have to wait for updates on future additions to the character list. I’m hoping they add King Boo, but the starting lineup of characters is already quite good.
The latest Mario Tennis game, Mario Tennis Fever, comes out this February. It’s been four years since the previous installment, Mario Tennis Aces, was released. Fever builds on what players loved about Aces, with some new features like a story mode and updated gameplay.
Fever introduces special items called Fever Rackets, which are the game’s main new feature. Once you fill the Fever Gauge, each Racket gives you a unique advantage. You can learn more about how they work in the game’s Overview trailer.
