3. Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends Season 4
Before Tom Holland returns as Spider-Man in a new movie, a different version of Peter Parker is already available to watch on TV. Season 4 of Spidey and his Amazing Friends is now streaming on Disney+, with new episodes released after an initial set in 2025. The show premiered its latest episodes on Disney+ on January 10th.
Currently, Spider-Man is the only Marvel series on Disney+ that’s available to watch. This season follows Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, and Miles Morales as they continue their powered adventures in the animated series. The story continues the exciting ‘Water-Webs’ arc, which has a pirate theme.
2. Venom: Let There Be Carnage
This month, Disney+ will be adding two live-action Marvel movies. First, on January 22nd, you’ll be able to stream Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the second film starring Tom Hardy as Venom. Venom: Let There Be Carnage pits Tom Hardy’s Venom against Woody Harrelson’s wildly unpredictable Cletus Kasady, who is also known as Carnage. Although the movie could have benefited from a more mature rating to fully showcase the villain’s dark side, it’s still an enjoyable entry in the series of Spider-Man villain spin-off films starring Hardy.
1. Wonder Man
The newest Marvel project coming to Disney+ in January is Wonder Man. Originally planned for a 2025 release, Marvel moved the show to January to ensure it wouldn’t be overshadowed by holiday content. All eight episodes of Wonder Man will be available on Disney+ starting January 27th.
This new Marvel series offers a unique perspective, focusing on the life of an actor inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as Simon Williams, a man with superpowers who must hide them to land the part of Wonder Man in a movie remake.
