In Hollow Knight: Silksong, these items are associated with one of its most challenging memory-based puzzles. It’s quite simple to overlook their exact locations once you’ve seen them, leading to missed locations, confusion about the bell patterns, or uncertainty about where the pieces fit in.

I’ve gathered all necessary information in one spot to eliminate any doubts. Here you’ll find each Cogheart location, the required bell sequences, and instructions on how to utilize them after acquiring all three.

How to start the Final Audience Wish

To access this Final Audience, you need to have met Setinel 2 on two separate occasions. The initial meeting takes place when you find him asleep within a transparent enclosure located in Cogwork Core. In order to awaken him, you’ll need to provide him with three Cogheart pieces.

After freeing the Citadel, you’ll come across it in an unanticipated spot within a short while. So, let’s dive right in!

Cogheart 1 location & puzzle

The first Cogheart puzzle can be found in the Choral Chambers.

Follow these steps to play the bells marked with numbers in the given image:

1. Arrange the bells in the sequence as per the numbers shown on the image.
2. Solve the puzzle by playing each bell in that ordered sequence.
3. The puzzle is divided across two pages, so make sure to check both pages for all the bells.

  • Phase 1 sequence: 3, 6, 5, 1, 7
  • Phase 2 sequence: 2, 4, 6, 3, 5, 1

Completing both phases unlocks the Cogheart in the center of the room.

Cogheart 2 location & puzzle

In the Whispering Vaults lies the solution to the second Cogheart puzzle. To crack this code, follow the sequence of numbered bells depicted in the image above. The puzzle is split into three sections on separate pages.

  • Phase 1: 1, 2, 7, 4
  • Phase 2: 7, 5, 5, 4, 5
  • Phase 3: 2, 7, 3, 5, 6, 1

After finishing all three phases, grab the Cogheart from the middle.

Cogheart 3 location & puzzle

The solution to the second Cogheart riddle is hidden within the halls of the Memorium. To crack this code, play the bells labeled with numbers as shown in the picture above, following the sequence given below. This puzzle is split across three separate pages:

1. First, play the bells according to the first sequence on the first page.
2. Next, move on to the second sequence on the second page.
3. Lastly, play the final series of bells as shown on the third page.

By following these steps, you should be able to uncover the secret and solve the puzzle.

  • Phase 1: 3, 5, 7, 2
  • Phase 2: 7, 5, 6, 7, 1
  • Phase 3: 6, 4, 2, 5, 3, 1

As a gamer, I’ve got to point out that certain bells can only be reached by performing some parkour moves, so it’s crucial to have mastered the Dash ability in this game.

How to use the Coghearts

Make your way back to the Cogworks Core and carefully place the Cogheart within the automaton. This action will bring the second Sentinel to life, causing it to engage in battles across the Citadel at a later time. After encountering him twice, you’ll be granted access to the “Final Audience Wish” in Songclave.
