Alinity announces break up after boyfriend gives her career ultimatum

Twitch streamer Alinity recently announced her split from her boyfriend of two years. She says the breakup happened because he asked her to pick between him and her streaming career.

During a live stream on March 8th, Alinity tearfully shared with her viewers that she had broken up with her partner that very morning.

She told her online audience that she was dealing with some difficult, personal issues, and became upset as she spoke about them.

She confirmed the relationship had ended after her boyfriend took issue with her streaming career.

She explained that her boyfriend of two years gave her an ultimatum: choose between him and her career. As a result, they ended their relationship this morning.

Alinity shared that the decision stemmed from a conversation with her boyfriend, who expressed worries about her online content, even though he was aware of her work when they started dating.

Alinity says boyfriend “made her choose” between him and streaming

“He knew it going in. Yeah, but he decided he didn’t want it anymore,” she said.

Alinity explained that her partner didn’t directly end the relationship. Instead, he forced her to choose between him and her career, which she’d dedicated 13 years to. She felt unable to make such a difficult choice.

However, she told viewers that continuing her streaming career was the obvious choice.

It’s a no-brainer – I’m definitely choosing to continue streaming. I don’t even need to consider anything else; it’s a done deal. I truly enjoy my work and I absolutely love streaming.

The streamer also shared that being financially secure influenced her choice. She pointed out the absurdity of telling someone they’re working for you when they actually earn more than you do, saying, “Just imagine that!”

Alinity has been a popular Twitch streamer for more than ten years and has gained millions of followers. Her streams typically attract an average of over 1,500 viewers at a time.

Even though she was devastated after the breakup, she assured her agency she was still able to fulfill her sponsored work commitment.
