Previously crowned WWE Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss made a personal announcement about an exciting Netflix project – she is set to appear in the popular anime show titled “Sakamoto Days“.
Alexis Cabrera, more famously recognized by her WWE persona Alexa Bliss, was once the WWE Women’s Champion. However, since the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View event in 2023, she has neither competed nor been seen in WWE, and unfortunately, she couldn’t secure the RAW Women’s Championship from Bianca Belair during that event.
After welcoming my little one into the world, I chose to step away for a while. Though many fans are excitedly waiting for me to re-enter the arena, I haven’t made a comeback just yet.
Despite whispers and guesses about when Bliss might reappear in the WWE, she announced a thrilling new job opportunity in voice acting.
WWE star surprises Netflix fans with Sakamoto Days anime role
On the 10th of January, Netflix released the last trailer for their upcoming anime series titled Sakamoto Days. Shortly after the video was posted online, Bliss shared it on her social media (previously known as Twitter) and revealed that she will be providing the English voice-over for the character, Obiguro, the master assassin.

Experienced in voice-acting jobs, Bliss has previously taken on a minor role as the English voiceover for Netflix’s The Queen of Villains. Yet, her participation in Sakamato Days marks her largest role thus far, and an area she is eager to delve deeper into throughout her professional journey.
Fans of a popular manga series have been excitedly waiting for the Netflix version’s debut. Initially, there were worries regarding the animation style and design, but now, those fears seem to be diminishing.
After receiving her confirmation, fans of Bliss rushed to the comment area to express their joy and backing for her role selection.
