YouTuber Airrack was banned from Universal Studios after tricking thousands of fans into thinking Cristiano Ronaldo was visiting. It turned out ‘Ronaldo’ was actually just Airrack wearing a mask.
Airrack has quickly become a major name on YouTube, known for his elaborate pranks. With over 17 million subscribers, he’s become famous for videos where he surprises big creators – like hiding in their homes, jokingly ‘arresting’ them, or unexpectedly appearing in public places.
However, some of his videos have caused problems. He received significant criticism for a prank where he falsely reported the police to Twitch streamers Maya and FaZe Adapt, largely because ‘swatting’ – making false emergency calls – is a very sensitive and dangerous issue.
In a recent video, he was asked to leave Universal Studios after impersonating Cristiano Ronaldo.
Airrack kicked out of Mall dressed as Cristiano Ronaldo
A popular YouTuber wore a mask of Cristiano Ronaldo while walking through Universal CityWalk, and fans immediately recognized him as he went into Ben & Jerry’s. That’s when things really started to get interesting.
When the crowd got out of control, Universal’s security team stepped in to help Airrack and guide him to safety. They escorted him to a Starbucks, but even after security asked him to leave, he stayed for a short while.
Security threatened to call the police, so we had to leave,” he explained to a friend, adding that they were banned from Universal Studios because of what happened. “It actually worked too well – we didn’t even get into the park,” Airrack said.
The YouTuber tricked a lot of people at a mall, though some weren’t sure it was really him. Kids started yelling his name as someone pretending to be Ronaldo left a store.
Someone in the crowd yelled, “That’s Airrack!” They then asked if anyone didn’t know who he was and told them to search for him on YouTube.
Airrack is trying another stunt, this time by dressing up as Lionel Messi. It’s anyone’s guess what will happen next!
