A logo for the second season of the Disney+ show Ahsoka recently appeared online. Despite some challenges leading up to the new season, fans are excited to see Rosario Dawson reprise her role as the popular Jedi Knight. Disney is sharing small hints about the plot, but most details are still a secret.
Rosario Dawson, who plays the title role in Ahsoka, posted a New Year’s Eve selfie on Instagram. The photo shows her wearing a black jacket featuring the show’s logo, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of the upcoming second season.

Merchandise made for the show’s crew features a logo for Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 on the left shoulder. The new logo is very similar to the one used for Season 1, but with a large “2” added below the title.

Below is a mock-up of what the new logo looks like in hi-definition:

For almost 50 years, most Star Wars project logos have followed a similar style: bold, straightforward lettering. The logo for Ahsoka continues this tradition, featuring bright white text in a simple, classic font.
The upcoming Disney+ series Ahsoka continues the story of Ahsoka Tano, a character fans know from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Starring Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Hayden Christensen, among others, the show follows Ahsoka and her team as they navigate two different universes, with Ahsoka determined to return home and confront Grand Admiral Thrawn. Although a second season was initially anticipated in 2026, it was recently left off the official list of Star Wars releases for that year.
What To Expect From Ahsoka Season 2

There’s still a lot of uncertainty about when Ahsoka Season 2 will be released, even though filming finished in Fall 2025. With few Star Wars projects planned for next year, particularly for streaming, releasing Ahsoka within the next year would be a great move.
When the show finally premieres on Disney+, fans will be excited to see Ahsoka’s first live-action adventure in over two years.
Season 2 will continue the story immediately after the events of Season 1, which concluded in late 2023. Viewers can expect to see Ahsoka and Sabine attempting to escape Peridea, while Hera, Ezra, and their allies will continue their battle against Thrawn and strive to bring their established group back together – a family forged in the animated series.
Fans can expect to see a lot more interaction between Dawson and Hayden Christensen this season as Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker’s Force Ghost reconnect. Their scenes together in Season 1 were particularly moving and helped make Ahsoka’s story so compelling. As Anakin and Ahsoka return, watching their relationship develop further promises to be a major highlight of the next eight episodes and drive the plot forward.
While fans eagerly await news about the release date for Ahsoka Season 2 on Disney+, hints like this one will help build excitement for the new season.
