Timberborn, the strategy game featuring beaver settlements, is officially launching after being in development for a while.
The developers haven’t announced the official release date for version 1.0 yet. But, you can try out a test version of the update right now on Steam! Just go to the game’s properties in the Steam client and choose this version in the Beta section. The final release date will likely depend on how well these tests go.
This first version lets you try out a bunch of new features our developers have been working on, such as:
- many additional types of objects on maps,
- two new maps and improved versions of old ones,
- a map editor,
- an option to build spiral staircases,
- a possibility to create your own banners, which can then be placed in the game world,
- an option to quickly duplicate buildings, which will be especially useful in the later stages of the game,
- improved graphics and animations,
- enhanced notifications and interface,
- improved modding tools,
- gameplay balance adjustments and technical bug fixes.
Timberborn was released in Early Access in September 2021. The game is available exclusively on PC.
GOG.com is currently having a sale where you can get the game Timberborn for $21.24 – that’s 40% off its regular price! This deal ends on November 12th.
