Greenheart Games, the creators of Game Dev Tycoon, have announced that their new fantasy business simulator, Tavern Keeper, will be available on Steam Early Access starting November 3rd. To mark this exciting step, they’ve released a new trailer and updated demo, which players can try out during the upcoming Steam Next Fest in October.
Tavern Keeper is a management game in the style of Two-Point Hospital, where you run an inn in a fantasy world. It combines fun, lighthearted moments with detailed business simulation. You can customize your inn’s layout and décor extensively, building everything from lively bars to cozy reading areas in a flexible, sandbox environment.
Tavern Keeper features a story mode narrated by acclaimed English actor Steven Pacey. In this mode, players will design and build taverns while overcoming unique challenges in diverse regions, each with its own distinct cultures and storylines.
Steam Next Fest begins on October 13th, giving players a chance to try out demos of upcoming games. Throughout the year, Steam will also host several other major events: Steam Scream (October 27 – November 3), Animal Fest (November 10-17), Sports Fest (December 8-15), and the Winter Sale starting December 18th.
