Adin Ross “feels bad” for QTCinderella as he scraps Kick Streamer Awards show

Adin Ross spoke out in support of QTCinderella following criticism from people nominated for The Streamer Awards, and clarified that he’s no longer planning to create a similar event on the Kick platform.

Streamers and online content creators have long asked for more recognition at award ceremonies. In response, QTCinderella launched The Streamer Awards in 2022, and the event has grown significantly in popularity each year since.

As we approach the end of 2025, plans for this year’s show are coming together, and the nominees were announced on November 17th. However, the nominations have faced criticism, with some people claiming they aren’t based on actual fan votes and that popular streamers with controversial reputations are being unfairly excluded.

QT expressed feeling incredibly frustrated and exhausted by the negative reaction, saying she was doing all she could and was tired of being upset. She started to cry as she spoke about it.

Adin Ross scraps Kick awards show

Adin Ross, originally intending to co-host a show on Kick with Asmongold, spoke out in support of QT. He also announced that the show has been canceled.

I honestly feel sorry for QTCinderella. She’s apparently being pressured by her sponsors to pick certain people, and that’s what’s bothering me.

I’ve been hearing things are rough. Apparently, people are upset with her, and she’s really struggling with it – I sympathize. She can’t please everyone, and honestly, it’s up to Twitch to handle the situation now.

Adin Ross announced he’s cancelling his Kick Awards show. He explained that Eddie, who was supposed to help cover the costs, is no longer willing to do so, and Adin isn’t willing to pay for the event himself. He said if Eddie wants to revive the show, he needs to cover all the expenses.

I was really excited when Adin said he’d been talking to Eddie Craven at Kick about doing something, but unfortunately, it fell through. Apparently, Eddie wasn’t willing to put up the money to make it happen, so Adin had to scrap the whole thing. It’s a bummer, but hopefully something similar will come together in the future!

So, I just heard from Ross that Eddie doesn’t want to deal with covering the Kick awards anymore, which means my recap version is off the table. Apparently, it’s going to be really expensive, and Ross isn’t willing to pay for it himself. Adin did say there’s still a chance if they can sort out the funding, but basically, someone needs to cover the entire cost. It sounds like that’s the bottom line.

QT gave his support to Adin and Asmongold’s competing show, suggesting they could create something different and stand out with their own unique categories.
