Adin Ross explains why he’s staying on Kick after rumors of Twitch return

As a dedicated fan who has followed Adin Ross’s streaming journey since his early days on Twitch, I was both excited and concerned when he hinted at a potential move away from Kick. However, after witnessing his recent announcement that he will be staying with Kick and focusing on Brand Risk events, I am nothing but optimistic for the future of this dynamic streamer and the platform he calls home.

According to recent updates, Adin Ross has confirmed that he’s staying with the platform Kick, despite hinting at a potential comeback on Twitch for several weeks now. He’s already brimming with ambitious ideas for his future there.

Over the last two years, as Kick has been trying to topple Twitch’s dominance over the live streaming space, Adin Ross has become the face of the Stake-backed platform.

In late 2024, the IRL streamer hinted at a possible departure from Kick. With this news, Ross, who is one of the site’s co-owners, temporarily altered his streaming routine and started sharing vague messages on social media platforms, sparking speculation among fans that he might be seeking a new platform.

He added to that fire himself by saying he was leaving Kick “indefinitely” and looked to change things within his community so that he could return to Twitch.

Adin Ross has KICK backing Brand Risk boxing events

On the 21st of December, Adin made it clear that he had no plans to leave and commended Kick CEO Ed Craven for his outstanding work while they collaborated.

He clearly stated during Kick Talk that he’s working on Brand Risk, “I’m telling you straight up – I’m handling Brand Risk on KICK.” He went on to express his appreciation for Eddie, stating that Eddie has been an accurate partner in this endeavor and a fantastic friend. Furthermore, he mentioned that Eddie supports Brand Risk and he believes that together they can help Brand Risk reach new heights, perhaps even achieving great success.

“I believe we have an excellent opportunity here. Let me handle it, or give it to Todd, or pass it along to the team who will take this project to new heights. We are absolutely committed to making this venture a tremendous success on Kickstarter, come what may.

Brand Risk refers to Adin’s endeavor to organize influencer boxing matches similar to those of KSI, Ibai, and WestCol. Previously, they hinted at shifting from hosting these events in boxing gyms to large arenas instead.

Starting to compete with established influencer boxing promotions would certainly involve a significant endeavor, considering they’ve had more time to grow and have already built quite an impressive scale and spectacle.
