Adam Sandler shuts down TikTok clip as “100 percent made up”

Sandler mentioned he’d come across a ridiculous story circulating online. He said he’s been hearing about it, saw it himself, and found it completely unbelievable. According to him, it’s a fabricated and strange tale that people keep bringing up, and he has no idea where it came from. He insists the whole story is false and completely made up.

A TikTok video posted on January 30, 2026, falsely claimed that a Beverly Hills store employee prevented Sadie from looking at some products. The video then alleged that Adam Sandler reacted by purchasing $312,000 worth of handbags.

Adam Sandler denied the rumor once more in an interview with USA Today, after a friend brought it to his attention via text message.

He described it as completely bizarre and senseless, something fabricated from whole cloth. He admitted he couldn’t understand how such a thing could even occur.

Okay, so there’s no truth to the rumors about Adam Sandler buying Chanel for everyone on the ‘Murder Mystery’ set, but he did admit that crazy story about him hitting up a fast food drive-thru super late at night was totally real! It’s just fun to hear him confirm those little things that go viral.

He also confirmed a story about him going to In N Out Burger late at night and ordering a lot of Double Doubles. “That one is true,” he said, contrasting it with another story he called “pathetic.”
