Sukeban Games, the creators of VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action, have finished developing their latest game, .45 Parabellum Bloodhound. Developer kiri announced in a recent update that the game is content complete and a release date should be revealed within the next couple of months, assuming everything stays on track. The update also included some new screenshots.
.45 Parabellum Bloodhound is in development for PC (Steam) release.

What it says on the tin.
Today, all of the story’s events and interactions are now playable. We still have a lot of work to refine things, and it will be challenging, but the remaining tasks are much more straightforward and predictable.
We’re not adding any new features or content. The focus is entirely on improvements – fixing bugs, polishing the visuals, and making everything run smoother and be more enjoyable. This includes things like quality-of-life updates, performance optimization, editing existing content, and translating it into other languages. There’s a lot to do, but it’s all fairly straightforward work.
If everything goes well we’ll divulge a release date in a couple months.
Stay tuned!
I’m really enjoying this stage of development – it reminds me of the exciting, yet stressful, final stretch of working on VA-11 Hall-A. It’s a mix of good and bad nerves, but in a really motivating way.
This time, we’re publishing the book ourselves, which means we’re taking on a lot more work. We’re hoping it pays off, but we’re not sure if it will be successful.
Right now, things are mostly repetitive work rather than challenging problems. So, I won’t have much to say unless something major goes wrong and we need to rebuild parts of the system—or, ideally, if something amusing happens! Let’s hope for some good stories!
Wish us luck, too.
We’ve been filming some footage to create a couple of trailers. It won’t be long before we start heavily promoting this game!
I’m so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on! This project, which we initially thought would take about two years, has actually become a huge, years-long effort. We had no idea what we were getting into!
This game is a small project, and we definitely faced limitations with both our budget and the time we had available. A lot of our effort went into simply learning how to create a 3D game, as it was completely new territory for us. Because of this, development naturally took longer than expected.
I don’t intend to continue making games for more than two years after this project. I’m feeling good about our new development process and the tools we’re using, and I expect future development cycles to go much more smoothly.
Let’s aim for the top!
