Across the Kosmos Xenosaga Piano Collection vinyl and CD release now available to pre-order

Wayo Records is now taking pre-orders for the official Xenosaga: Across the Kosmos Piano Collection, available on both CD and vinyl.

Benyamin Nuss’s new album will be released next month, featuring 17 tracks. The digital and CD versions also include 8 bonus jazz arrangements. Pre-orders are available now. The CD costs €24, and the vinyl is priced at €46.20. You can find more information and a video preview of the album on the Wayo Records website.

Xenosaga Episode I, launched in February 2002 for PlayStation 2, started a remarkable video game series from Tetsuya Takahashi, and featured a stunning soundtrack by Yasunori Mitsuda. Mitsuda’s work on the game is still highly regarded as a landmark achievement in video game music. To celebrate these beloved classics, we’ve created two officially licensed albums – Across the Kosmos ~ Xenosaga Piano Collection and Jazz in Kosmos – showcasing the best music from the game with beautiful new arrangements.

This album features 17 piano arrangements of popular Japanese video game music. It’s a collaboration with talented composers Mariam Abounnasr, Akio Noguchi, Hiroyuki Nakayama, and Benyamin Nuss, and was recorded using a Steinway D Grand Piano.

Music by Yasunori Mitsuda. Arrangements by Hiroyuki Nakayama, Mariam Abounnasr, Akio Noguchi, and Benyamin Nuss. Performed by Benyamin Nuss on piano, alongside the album ‘Endgegner’. The cover art and original illustrations are by Kiyoshi Arai. This album is produced, published, and distributed by Wayô Records, with official licensing from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and Septima Ley.
