Although Marty Mauser didn’t win the British Open, he’s become a fan favorite worldwide. And after a hugely successful run in cinemas, A24 is now releasing it for digital download and streaming.
The film Marty Supreme will be available to stream online on February 10th, only 47 days after it hit theaters. Following a successful run in cinemas, A24 is confident Marty Supreme will also perform well on digital platforms.
The film will also be available digitally, allowing viewers who don’t live near a cinema to watch it before the Oscars on March 15th. Marty Supreme has been nominated for multiple awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Timothée Chalamet.
What Is Marty Supreme About?
Set in the 1950s, Marty Supreme features Timothée Chalamet as Marty Mauser, an American table tennis player striving to win the world championship. The character is inspired by the real-life champion Marty Reisman, who passed away in 2012.
Josh Safdie directed the film Marty Supreme, which he wrote with Ronald Bronstein. Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher all have supporting roles in the movie.
Marty Supreme arrives on digital on Feb. 10.
