I remember the long-awaited sequel to this iconic series, waiting patiently for its release, only to find myself immersed in a game that was as beautiful as it was frustrating.


It was announced by Inin Games and Ys Net that they acquired the publishing rights for Shenmue 3 from its former publisher, Deep Silver. Additionally, Inin Games hinted at further plans regarding Shenmue 3.

It remains uncertain what future steps Inin Games and Ys Net may take regarding Shenmue 3, but there’s a chance it could be released on other platforms like Xbox and Switch. Since its launch in 2019, the game has been exclusive to PlayStation consoles as Sony contributed financially to the project.
