The media sales company, Sola Media, has secured several pre-purchase agreements for the computer-generated imagery (CGI) Christmas movie titled “A Mouse Hunt.” They plan to showcase fresh scenes from this film at the European Film Market held in Berlin.
In more than forty regions worldwide, Sola has successfully distributed the film. These territories include Poland (where it won Best Film), Hungary, the Baltics, Former Yugoslavia, Greece, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as ADS in Hungary and ACME in the Baltics. The movie will debut in Scandinavia through Nordisk Film on November 7th, while Capelight Pictures will release it in Germany on the 13th of the same month. Remaining territories will be sold by Sola at the EFM.
The movie revolves around a mouse clan engaged in holiday preparations within their charming rural abode, but their tranquil existence is disrupted when a city-dwelling human family seeks refuge and peace from urban life. This sets off an intense conflict of dominance between mice and humans.
The movie, filled with wit and an intriguing storyline, reminds one of traditional holiday favorites such as ‘Mouse Hunt’ directed by Gore Verbinski or ‘Home Alone.’ It offers laughter, warmth, and enduring excitement suitable for all ages.”

The movie is created by Fantefilm, a renowned and long-standing production company from Norway, famous for blockbuster movies like “The Wave” (2015), “The Quake” (2018), “Teddy’s Christmas” (2022) and “The North Sea” (2023). The film “Teddy’s Christmas” garnered more than 350,000 ticket sales in Germany.
According to Solveig Langeland, the managing director of Sola, they believe that due to its top-notch animation, delightful wit, and lovable lead characters, this movie could turn into a brand-new festive favorite for families.
