There’s no shortage of games where you try to survive, gather loot, and escape. Popular options include Arena Breakout Infinite, Escape from Tarkov (now fully released on Steam!), and the upcoming PUBG Black Budget, which is starting its first tests. ARC Raiders has also generated a lot of excitement, with players enjoying the challenge of fighting giant mechs and collecting valuable items. The developers of ARC Raiders aren’t stopping there, though – they plan to keep the game fresh with new updates. A particularly anticipated addition is the ‘Raider Deck,’ coming with the ‘Cold Snap’ update, though details are still scarce.
Why is it so quiet about new Raider Deck in ARC Raiders?
The next update, called Cold Snap, is coming soon! It will introduce a new Snowfall map condition, a new in-game event, and a new Raider Deck. The Raider Deck works a lot like Battle Passes – you’ll earn and spend creeds to unlock cosmetic items.
The planned release of Cold Snap was set for December, but it’s already the 9th of the month and players haven’t received it yet. While the exact date wasn’t confirmed, we’re now nearing mid-December and the new Raider Deck still hasn’t been released.
It’s now difficult to say exactly when the Cold Snap update and its associated Raider Deck will be released. The Expedition Project, which many players discussed and debated, has been slightly delayed. Originally, players were scheduled to complete their Expeditions, send their Raider to the Rust Belt, and reset their progress to earn permanent account bonuses on December 15th. Now, this will happen on December 17th instead. Combined with the lack of updates from the developers, it looks like Cold Snap and the Raider Deck won’t arrive until later in the month, contrary to earlier predictions. We’ll need to wait for more information from the game developers.
