Get ready for Survivor 50! The 50th season of the popular series, hosted by Jeff Probst, is coming this spring, and CBS is making it a big event. As previously announced, this season will feature returning players, including Mike White. To build excitement, CBS will air two weeks of classic episodes featuring cast members from Survivor 50, starting February 9th and running through February 20th at 8 p.m. These reruns will air alongside NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage. The premiere episode will then be a special three-hour event on Wednesday, February 25th, from 8 to 11 p.m., so younger fans might need to ask for permission to stay up late!
CBS hasn’t announced which episodes will be re-aired, but there will be ten in total. With a cast of 24 people, not everyone will get a lot of screen time. Interestingly, two current contestants on Survivor 49 are also likely to appear in these reruns. CBS can easily group some players together who have competed against each other before – for instance, White, Angelina Keeley, and Christian Hubicki all played on David vs. Goliath. They might even re-air the Micronesia episode where Cirie Fields tricked Ozzy Lusth into not using his immunity idol before voting him out – a good way to stir things up before the cast reunites!
