It’s therefore understandable that her sister, Khloé, quickly changed the subject before their mother’s big birthday celebration.

This month, the Kardashian-Jenner family threw a lavish James Bond-themed party to celebrate Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday, with guests dressing in their finest. Kim Kardashian channeled Halle Berry’s famous purple dress from the movie Die Another Day for the event, but struggled to decide how to style her hair and asked her sisters for help. Okay, so I heard the initial idea was for Kim to get a super short pixie cut! Apparently, it was meant to be a tribute to Halle Berry’s iconic look and a nod to Kris Jenner’s usual hairstyle. But then Kim started talking to Kendall and Khloé, and she had some reservations…

I felt like I was unintentionally dressing up as Halle Berry. Kylie told me to just be myself, reminding me that I was authentic when portraying Marilyn Monroe, and asked why I wouldn’t embrace that same approach with my hair. We had actually discussed this before.

Everyone remembers when Kim wore that iconic dress to the Met Gala, but she styled her hair differently than the original actress. Now, with her Halle Berry-inspired look, should she follow the same approach? Khloé Kardashian wasn’t going to let that happen again and quickly told her sister no.

It’s understandable why she felt upset. Kim Kardashian had to explain her rapid 16-pound weight loss after facing criticism that she’d gone too far to fit into the dress. To make things worse, the dress’s original designer, Bob Mackie, who was only 23 when he created it, publicly stated that he believed Kim shouldn’t have worn it, as it was made specifically for Marilyn Monroe and no one else.

Kim Kardashian ultimately took Kylie Jenner’s advice and decided against getting a short, pixie-style haircut like Halle Berry or Kris Jenner. Everything went well, and the rest of her video showed her celebrating with her sisters, having fun and enjoying drinks in honor of Kris Jenner’s birthday.

I was absolutely blown away by the guest list at this incredible party – Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber, Oprah, even Prince Harry and Meghan were there! It was such a star-studded event. It’s a little strange though, you don’t see any pictures of the royals online after the party, and I heard that selfie Meghan took with Kim Kardashian actually disappeared from social media – so mysterious!
