Adin Ross publicly criticized Kick owner Eddie Craven, claiming Craven was providing fake viewers (‘viewbots’) to streamers. He also used the opportunity to criticize Twitch for similar issues.
Using bots to artificially increase viewer counts – known as viewbotting – has been a persistent issue in the live streaming world. Some people intentionally use these bots to sabotage streamers, while others use them to falsely boost their own popularity.
Both Twitch and Kick have pledged to stop the use of fake viewers, aiming to safeguard their content creators and platforms. However, these efforts have actually raised more concerns than answers.
Adin Ross feels Kick isn’t currently helping him reach new viewers, so he’s planning to stream again on Twitch to gain more visibility. He’s also asked Kick why he isn’t featured on their homepage, despite being one of their most popular streamers.
Adin Ross blasts Kick Eddie over viewbots
During a stream on November 12th, Kick’s head, Ed Craven, said they would get rid of the bots in the chat, which upset Adin.
Adin exclaimed, “You’re the one providing them! You’re using bots! What are you saying… It’s you!” after seeing the message.
You’re the one giving them what they want, and you know it. It’s happening on Twitch too, but don’t pretend you’re not part of it. Seriously, you’re enabling this. When was the last time I got any attention or was featured anywhere?

A recent report by Streams Charts found that about 17% of streamers on Kick used viewbots – software that artificially inflates viewer numbers. These fake viewers added up to over 20 million hours of inflated watch time in just the second quarter of 2025. Kick has taken action against streamers using these bots in the past as part of its efforts to prevent this kind of activity.
Even though Adin plans to start streaming on Twitch again with some major broadcasts, he’s not abandoning Kick completely. He’ll still stream regularly on Kick, and that includes his gambling streams.
