The ‘Armored Transports‘ quest is one of the final missions in the initial set of Arc Raiders quests. To complete it, you need to find a key at Blue Gate and use it to unlock one of the armored patrol cars located in the center of the map. This guide will show you exactly where to find the key and how to locate one of these vehicles.
After you finish this quest, you’ll need to go to Blue Gate, so be prepared! Bring your best gear – a strong shield and a weapon you’re good with – to avoid losing valuable items if you get into a fight.
Once you’re ready to head out, here’s how to complete the Armored Transport quest.
Where to find the Armored Patrol Car Key
To start the Armored Transport mission, you first need to locate the Patrol Car Key. You’ll find it at the Checkpoint, which is in the center of the map. Be warned – this is a risky place, usually guarded by strong enemies like Bastions and Rocketeers, and other players too. Approach with caution and stay alert while you’re there.

Search the guard huts around here to find the Patrol Car Key. It’s usually on a folder, and while it’s most often found in the leftmost hut, it can appear in any of them. The huts are lined up in a row – refer to the picture to help you identify them. Once you find the key, be sure to pick it up and add it to your inventory.

With the Patrol Car Key obtained, it’s time to loot an armored patrol car.
Where to find an armored patrol car
Finding an armored patrol car has both good and bad sides. It’s true that they don’t always appear in the same place, but thankfully, they’re still fairly common around the Checkpoint area.
To find the armored patrol car, go north from where you found the Patrol Car Key and enter the big tunnel full of vehicles. Be careful – the path is usually guarded by wasps, hornets, and potentially a rocketeer and a bastion, either right outside or inside the tunnel. Staying hidden is key, so use smoke grenades or the cloaking device if you have one.

Okay, so there are police cars everywhere inside, but most of them are wrecked. You’re gonna have to find one that’s still in good shape, and the easiest way to spot it is to look for a car with its back door closed and a light on inside. That’s the one you want!

Okay, so when I spot one of those armored patrol cars, I need to sneak around to the back and use the Patrol Car Key to get inside. There’s a gun case in there with a random weapon, and grabbing that gun is all it takes to finish the quest. Easy enough!
Now that you’ve finished the quest goals, take some time to collect any remaining useful items at the Checkpoint. Then, you can return to Speranza by going either southeast to the Overlook Airshaft or northwest to the Cliffside Airshaft to complete the quest. If you found a great weapon, save it for a future, more challenging attempt.
