Aquaplus has officially announced a delay in the launch of their upcoming game, Utawarerumono: Shiro he no Michishirube. Originally planned for fall 2025, the new release window is now set for the year 2026. The company explained in their Japanese press statement that they require additional time to enhance the game’s overall quality.

The newly announced Utawarerumono game was unveiled during Aquaplus’ 30th anniversary celebration event last November. At this point, no specific platforms for the game have been announced. Furthermore, it appears that Aquaplus will not be showcasing any of their games at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Recently, the company has also experienced a shift in parent company from HIKE/Pole To Win Holdings to Yuke’s.
