Matthew Rinaudo, known online as Mizkif, is suing Emily Schunk (Emiru), Zack Hoyt (Asmongold), and his previous organization, OTK, for defamation. This legal action follows accusations of sexual assault made against him.
During a Twitch stream on October 25th, Emiru publicly accused Mizkif of sexual assault, stalking, and domestic abuse. The two, who used to be in a relationship and both streamed for the organization One True King (OTK), previously lived together in Texas but have since separated. Emiru stated she was working on obtaining a restraining order against him.
After a few hours, I jumped on stream myself to talk about everything going on with Emiru. I wanted to share my side of what happened, specifically detailing the alleged sexual assault as I understood it.
Following the controversy, OTK, the streaming organization co-founded by Mizkif, publicly supported co-owner Emiru and stated that their professional relationship with Mizkif had ended previously. Other creators within OTK, like Asmongold, also criticized Mizkif, adding to the situation.
The 30-year-old influencer, Mizkif, is taking legal action. He’s filed a defamation lawsuit against Emiru, Asmongold, and several organizations including OTK, Mythic Talent Management, and King Gaming Labs, as was first reported by KXAN.
Twitch streamer Emiru has publicly accused Mizkif, another streamer, of assault, abuse, stalking, harassment, and threatening to reveal damaging information about her.

Mizkif sues Emiru and Asmongold for defamation
The lawsuit, filed in federal court, argues that the claims made against Mizkif are untrue and have seriously damaged his reputation and career.
The lawsuit isn’t just about what Emiru said, but also how those claims spread and were amplified by others in the streaming community. Mizkif is suing, arguing that Asmongold specifically helped those claims go viral, and is now facing legal action as a result.
Honestly, this lawsuit is also trying to prove that there weren’t any broken contracts with OTK, Mythic Talent, and King Gaming Labs. It’s a bit wild because King Gaming Labs is saying OTK still owes them over $600,000 in management fees, which they’re clearly fighting over!
The lawsuit doesn’t state a specific amount of money Mizkif is requesting, but KXAN reports he’s seeking to be compensated for damage to his reputation, lost income, and emotional suffering.
Asmongold hasn’t spoken publicly about the lawsuit. Similarly, neither Emiru nor Mizkif have made any public statements since their recent streams.

Emiru is speaking out three years after Mizkif was accused of covering up a sexual assault involving other streamers. While a separate defamation lawsuit about this incident was filed, the court dismissed the case.
