Optimizing Cyrene’s build in Honkai: Star Rail can greatly enhance her support capabilities, especially by maximizing her stats. Cyrene is the newest 5-star character added to Honkai: Star Rail as part of the 3.7 update, and she’s the last of the Chrysos Heir characters available on Amphoreus.
Cyrene is a powerful 5-star Ice character who follows the Path of the Remembrance. She’s primarily a support, boosting her teammates’ abilities. She really shines when used with other characters who share the ‘Chrysos’ designation – like the Remembrance Trailblazer, Permansor Terrae, and Evernight – as she gets special bonuses when paired with them in Honkai: Star Rail.
Best Light Cones For Cyrene
There Are Great Light Cone Options For Cyrene

When building Cyrene, your first priority should be finding the right Light Cone. Her best option is the 5-star “This Love, Forever,” which is specifically designed for her. This Light Cone gives her an 18% Speed boost, which is very useful. Plus, when her Memosprite uses its skill on a teammate, all enemies become more vulnerable, taking 10% extra damage.
Okay, so I’ve been experimenting with Cyrene in Honkai: Star Rail, and I’ve put together what I think are the best builds. I’m talking about the best Light Cones to use, what stats you should really focus on, and everything else you need to get the most out of her. Here’s what I’ve found works best!

If a player’s memosprite uses a skill on an enemy, all allies gain Verse, boosting their critical damage by 16%. Having both Blank and Verse active at the same time makes each effect 60% stronger. This ability works well with Cyrene’s playstyle in Honkai: Star Rail, as her memosprite can target both teammates and opponents.
If you can’t get the ideal Light Cone right away, I recommend using “Memory’s Curtain Never Falls,” a free 5-star option. You can buy it from Herta’s Shop, and it gives your character a 6% Speed boost. After using their Skill, it also increases the damage dealt by your whole team by 8% for three turns. A great thing about this Light Cone is how easy it is to upgrade to its highest level, which doubles both the Speed and damage boosts.
If you don’t have a 5-star Light Cone, consider using a 4-star option like Victory in a Blink. It increases CRIT DMG by 12% and boosts the damage of all allies by 8% for three turns whenever your character’s companion uses an ability on them. Sweat Now, Cry Less, available through the battle pass, is another good choice. It gives a 12% CRIT Rate boost and increases both your character’s and companion’s damage by 24% while the companion is in battle.
Best Relics, Ornaments, & Stats For Cyrene
Cyrene Only Needs Two Main Stats

Okay, so now I’m trying to get the best gear for Cyrene! From what I’ve read, the absolute best Relic set to aim for is the World-Remaking Deliverer. If you get two pieces of it, Cyrene gets an 8% boost to her CRIT Rate, which is awesome. But if you manage to get the full four-piece set, things get really good. Basically, whenever Cyrene uses an attack or skill while her memosprite is out, it boosts both her and the memosprite’s Max HP by 24%, and also increases the damage of all your allies by 15% until she attacks again! It sounds like it’ll make a huge difference in battles.
You can also combine two pieces of the Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal set with two pieces of the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace set. This will give you a 12% Speed boost overall, with each set providing a 6% increase. Finally, choose a good Ornament set for her. The Amphoreus, The Eternal Land set, which was released with Cyrene in Honkai: Star Rail version 3.7, is the best option.
As a fan, I’m really excited about this set! The two-piece bonus gives you an 8% Crit Rate, which is awesome. But here’s the best part: when your memosprite is out, everyone on your team gets an 8% Speed boost! It doesn’t stack, but it’s a huge help in making sure your characters get more turns. You could also go with the Sprightly Vonwacq set instead. Now, Cyrene might not need the extra Energy Recharge, since she’ll easily have over 120 Speed, but she will get a 40% Advanced Forward boost when the battle starts, letting her act super quickly!
When building stats, prioritize Speed up to 240. This maximizes the benefit of her Bonus Trace, which boosts Ice Penetration for both her and her memosprite. Reaching 180 Speed is crucial, as it increases damage dealt by all allies by 20%. After Speed, focus on maximizing her Max HP, as this directly impacts her attack power. Finally, build up her Crit stats, but you only need to reach 37.5% Crit Rate because her Ultimate provides 62.5%.
Best Team Comps For Cyrene
Cyrene Works Best Alongside Amphoreus Characters

Cyrene is a flexible support character who works well in many teams, but she’s most effective when played with characters like Amphoreus. In Honkai: Star Rail, she pairs nicely with damage dealers such as Aglaea, Mydei, Anaxa, and Castorice. You can think of Cyrene as a replacement for the Remembrance Trailblazer.

For free-to-play teams, Cyrene and the Remembrance Trailblazer work well as support characters with any damage dealer. It’s best to use Permansor Terrae for healing and defense, as he’s a Chrysos Heir, which will activate one of Cyrene’s abilities and let her boost his stats.
Skill (Trace) Priority For Cyrene
Cyrene’s Memosprite Skills Are Of The Utmost Importance

Finally, focus on upgrading Cyrene, beginning with her memosprite’s abilities – they’re the most crucial. Then, improve her Bonus Traces, Ultimate ability, Skill, and Talent. Leave upgrading her Basic Attack for last, as she shouldn’t rely on it much.
If you build Cyrene well, you’ll have a significant advantage in combat, and it’s actually quite easy thanks to two excellent free-to-play Light Cone choices. Adding her to your Chrysos Heir team will make you even more powerful in Honkai: Star Rail.
