Square Enix launched a day one update for the newly released Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake. The update adds English voice acting to certain cutscenes, provides extra tutorials, includes new accessories for the first Dragon Quest game, and offers other improvements.
Update 1.0.1.0 is now available on all platforms, including Switch 2, Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Xbox on PC (Microsoft Store). Complete details about the changes can be found on the Square Enix website.
Update content:
- English voices have been added to some event scenes.
- More Traveller’s Tips (i.e. tutorials) have been added.
- The Anti-Freeze Earrings and Asbestos Earrings have been added to the obtainable accessories in DRAGON QUEST I.
- Some adjustments have been made to the “Tactics” AI and enemy behaviour AI.
- Miscellaneous changes, minor bug fixes and stat adjustments, and performance optimisation.
