Creators of breast milk icecream launches booger candy that’s just like “the real thing”

Okay, so there’s this new candy out called Boogie Bites, and it’s… well, it’s gummies! They’re supposed to be sweet and sour, and they launched last October. The weirdest part? They’re shaped like boogers – seriously, they made gummies that look like boogers – and come in three different colors. It’s a little gross, but I’m kinda curious now!

The candy was made to advertise NoseFrida, a product that helps clear babies’ and young children’s stuffy noses. Frida, the company, says the gummies are shaped like the actual nasal aspirator.

While Boogie Bites recently released a booger-flavored candy, they weren’t the first. Jelly Belly has included the flavor in their Beanboozled jelly beans since 2007.

Boogie candy isn’t made from real boogers

You can find Boogie Bites only on GoPuff for $3.99. They’re currently available in New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Boston, and Philadelphia, Frida announced.

They shared the news in an Instagram post on October 27.

Everyone agrees Frida is the expert on dealing with runny noses! And with cold and flu season here, they’ve created a better way for kids to handle mucus – introducing Boogie Bites, a kid-approved treat that’s been a favorite for years.

The company has confirmed that the product is not made with real boogers. It’s actually made with ingredients like tapioca syrup, cane sugar, pectin, natural flavors, and fruit and vegetable juice for coloring.

Frida gained attention earlier this year with a unique ice cream flavor: breast milk. She created it in collaboration with OddFellows in New York, but it’s no longer available.
