According to the police report, Booth is accused of having six inappropriate images. Three of these images reportedly depicted children under the age of 12, and three showed teenagers between 12 and 17 years old. Authorities claim some of the images of the younger children were shared more than ten times, while those of the older teens were shared over fifteen times.

When police arrested him, a Halloween decoration in Booth’s yard – a sign saying “I smell children” – had reportedly worried some neighbors.

On October 23, 2025, Booth entered a plea of not guilty in Jefferson County District Court. He was released on a $100,000 bond, but is not allowed to go online or have any contact with children as part of the conditions of his release.

Investigators have not disclosed whether additional charges or victims are involved.

Mr Crafty Pants was a popular YouTube channel created by Booth in November 2019. It featured do-it-yourself craft tutorials and had gained over 500,000 subscribers by October 2025. The channel is no longer available on YouTube.
