How to get Wolfsbane in Destiny 2. The new exotic weapon is coming

In July, Destiny 2 saw the launch of Year of Prophecy and its expansion, The Edge of Fate. Since then, there’s been a bit of time that’s passed, but for live service games like this one, taking a long break isn’t really an option if they want to keep their players engaged. While some fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming expansion called Renegades, for now, we can indulge in the Ash & Iron major update. To mark its debut, the developers have unveiled some new game elements that will be rolled out over the next few months. One of these exciting additions is an exotic “sword” called Wolfsbane.

How to get Wolfsbane in Destiny 2?

In October, a unique tool referred to as Wolfsbane (though technically it’s an axe but classified as a sword), is set to arrive in Destiny 2. To acquire this item, you’ll need to embark on an Exotic Quest, as developers have hinted during their recent livestream. Details about the specifics of this mission remain scarce, but we know it will involve extending Maya’s network and collaborating with Saint-14 and Anastasia Bray. So for now, all you can do is stay tuned for further information once the weapon is added to the game.

Destiny’s 2 Wolfsbane stats and abilities

So, it’s a good time to talk about weapon statistics

  1. Power: 300
  2. Impact: 69
  3. Swing Speed: 40
  4. Charge Rate: 0
  5. Guard Resistance: 40
  6. Guard Endurance: 40
  7. Ammo Capacity: 64

Developers have also revealed some Wolfsbane’s perks.

  1. Nano-Assault (trait): Quicksilver nanites that attach to the wielder charge the blade. Press Alternate Weapon Action button when fully charged to overclock the attached nanites, enhancing the blade’s offensive capabilities. Light attacks deal increased damage to targets; fully charged Heavy attacks create a flaming Quicksilver swarm-nado.
  2. Unyielding Handle (handle): Traditional guarding is disabled in favor of offensive capabilities. Gain damage resistance from being in combat for a short duration.
  3. Resurgence Scandal (Intrinsic Trait): Light attacks generate Sword energy and have the chance to spawn seeking Quicksilver nanites that heal the wielder upon attaching.

Absolutely, as I’ve said before, we’ve got a heap of fresh content on the horizon for Destiny 2. Plus, Bungie’s got some rare crossbows, weapons, and armor pieces in store for us gamers!
