Ryu Ga Gotoku Summit and Direct 2025 streams will be broadcast online on September 23/24

Sega’s Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has planned to host the RGG Summit 2025 and the RGG Direct presentation events a day prior to Tokyo Game Show 2025. These events can be watched on YouTube and Twitch, with the specific links becoming available as we approach the event week.

The streams’ broadcast date and time will differ based on the time zones:

  • Japan – Wednesday, September 24 at 12 PM JST
  • Central Europe – Wednesday, September 24 at 5 AM CEST
  • US Pacific – Tuesday, September 23 at 8 PM PDT

In simpler terms, while the announcement wasn’t fresh news when we initially posted this, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio had announced it back on August 28. More recently, RGG Studio reiterated the streaming event reminder, following Sega and Atlus updating their Tokyo Game Show 2025 website today.

It appears that four upcoming games, labeled “coming soon,” are scheduled in Sega’s TGS 2025 lineup, and their placement between Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage suggests they might be developed by internal Sega studios. Interestingly, RGG Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven, which was previously exhibited at Summer Game Fest 2025 in June, is not yet listed in the TGS 2025 lineup.

At first glance, it seems that RGG Studio’s IP titles are missing from Sega’s TGS 2025 lineup at the initial announcement. This could indicate that Sega might be planning to fill some or all of these slots with new content after their streams have been aired. However, there may be other opportunities too, such as a State of Play and/or Nintendo Direct broadcasts prior to TGS that could potentially reveal more titles.
