‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Casts Piper Perabo in Recurring Role (EXCLUSIVE)

Piper Perabo has joined “Grey’s Anatomy” for a three-episode run in Season 21.

Actress Perabo, who’s been nominated for a Golden Globe and has an impressive resume spanning from “Coyote Ugly” to “Yellowstone,” will portray Jenna Gatlin – a determined mother who will go to great lengths for her 9-year-old daughter Dylan, who requires a high-risk brain operation at Grey Sloan.

In my humble opinion, as a movie enthusiast, you’ll find me gracing your screens for the first time in episode 16 of Season 21, entitled “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone.” This captivating episode airs on ABC at 10 p.m. ET on May 1. I make a reappearance in episodes 17 (“Love You Like a Love Song”) and 18 (“How Do I Live”), which serves as the season finale.

In Episode 16, the plot revolves around Amelia performing a dangerous brain operation on a youthful patient. Simultaneously, Jo and Link find themselves at odds while organizing their wedding.

In the upcoming episodes, “Jo and Link’s wedding day is here, accompanied by some unexpected guests. Simultaneously, Teddy and Owen encounter an acquaintance requiring treatment, while Lucas clashes with Simone over a patient’s deteriorating health. As the interns look forward to moving into their second year of residency, an ordinary day at Grey Sloan Hospital takes an unforeseen twist when a critical situation arises in the operating room, putting lives within the hospital at risk.

Peyton Perabo first gained prominence with her performance in the 2000 film “Coyote Ugly.” Following this, she starred in the “Cheaper by the Dozen” movies led by Steve Martin, as well as Christopher Nolan’s “The Prestige.” Lately, you can find her on Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels,” Netflix’s “Turn Up Charlie,” and the film “Angel Has Fallen” starring Gerard Butler. She received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in the USA Network series “Covert Affairs,” and she has also appeared on “Billions” and “Yellowstone.
