Streamer Kai Cenat refuted accusations by Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel that his companions, Rakai and Reggie, have engaged in viewbotting. Yet, xQc remains undeterred by this counterargument.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the practice of viewbotting – artificially inflating one’s viewer count with fake viewers – has been prevalent on Twitch for quite some time now. Some mischief-makers employ this tactic to get streamers into trouble, while others simply use it as a means to give themselves an unfair advantage. It’s a sneaky and unsportsmanlike strategy that undermines the authenticity of the platform and its community.
On April 9th, xQc alleged that Rakai and Reggie, friends of Kai Cenat, were using viewbotting to boost their own popularity. The Twitch and YouTube sensation, xQc, highlighted the sudden increase from 800 viewers to 30,000 viewers in a single night as well as minimal chat activity below 20%.
He stated that he doesn’t care about them since they are using automated systems to inflate views. From 1K subscribers to 20k in a single day, he has seen this kind of thing before and isn’t fooled. He’s open to discussing the possibility that their management is responsible for this.
Kai responds to xQc’s viewbotting claims
In a different turn of events, the streaming star didn’t involve Kai in this matter, instead praising the AMP member as “genuinely reliable across the board.” However, Kai has recently responded to xQc, standing up for his friends in a counter-argument.
“If it was directly about me, I would take the high road, but I’m tired of doing that s**t.
He stated from an external viewpoint, Felix, it appears as though you’re being submissive and that can come off as strange to me. You then claim it was a joke, but I’m curious, what exactly is the jest about? I hold no ill will towards xQc, I simply want to correct people when they make mistakes.
To be honest, I’d have to verify with Reggie if he recognizes xQc. It seems unlikely that he does.
xQc doubles down on viewbotting claims
Previously celebrated Overwatch player replied to Kai, pointing out a possible escape route from the commotion, yet he chose to reinforce his assertions twice as strongly.
Friend, I’m making a firm commitment here, it’s necessary. I’m putting my reputation on the line because of what I understand and what I’ve observed and scrutinized. I’m not just making an idle statement, I genuinely believe this to be true,” he explained.
As a gamer, I don’t care who’s behind the manipulation – be it another player, a spectator, a moderator, an agency, or even some tech-savvy individual from Bulgaria controlling a bot. What matters is that someone is meddling with the game, and it needs to stop.
In a surprising move, xQc opts to quadruple-drop on Reggie and RaKi’s protégés, who are being heavily view-botted. This has left me thinking, “I sincerely believe that someone is manipulating the situation, be it a mod, an agency, or someone else entirely.

It’s been noticed by certain spectators that Kai contributes to the growth of both his streams not only through raids but also by encouraging his audience to back other streamers as well.
Recently, xQc has been quite vocal about the issue of viewbotting, labeling QueenGloriaRP’s action of employing a viewbot as potentially harmful.
