Verdict on Quicksand

Quicksand is a scary and suspenseful movie about a couple going through a divorce. While hiking in Columbia, they get trapped in quicksand and must work together to survive before it’s too late.

The film effectively uses its remote setting to create a claustrophobic and terrifying fight for survival. A couple finds themselves stranded in an unexpected location, facing a deadly predicament. Their existing relationship issues are compounded by the struggle to escape. The danger isn’t limited to the harsh environment; they also have to contend with dangerous local animals. While the movie delivers on the thrills you’d expect, it doesn’t quite reach peak intensity, but remains consistently tense.
