In today’s Nintendo Switch Direct presentation, it was announced that characters such as Ringabel, Edea, Tiz, and Anges are making their comeback due to a fresh remake of the original Bravely Default game. Originally debuting in Japan on the 3DS in 2012, with an enhanced version following for the western market and Japan as “Bravely Default: For the Sequel” in 2013, this revamped edition seems to include innovative mouse-based minigames and additional features.
In Bravely Default, combat unfolds using an unique turn-based format that revolves around its Brave and Default functions. The Default option lets you defend or save up actions, whereas Braving allows you to unleash those saved actions all at once, leading to a thrilling and rapid battle system. Furthermore, players could automate their fights by replicating their previous moves, which was quite innovative when the game was released in 2013.
