‘The Masked Singer’ Shocker: Candace Cameron Bure Unmasked as Cherry Blossom!

⚠️ Attention: Here’s a recap from the seventh episode of “The Masked Singer” season 13, titled “Carnival Night,” that was broadcasted on Fox on March 26.

In this example, I’ve attempted to make it more conversational and easy-to-read by replacing some technical terms with simpler ones.

Candace Cameron Bure shared that the producers of “The Masked Singer” asked her to participate in their popular Fox singing show four times before she agreed, and although she got eliminated during her debut episode (as “Cherry Blossom”), she expressed joy to Entertainment Master that she went ahead with it.

Cameron Bure often advises her children to seize opportunities that frighten them, as they offer learning experiences and help boost self-confidence. She admitted that she too needed to follow her own guidance and agreed to something.”

Or simply:

“Cameron Bure encourages her kids to take chances on things that scare them because it’s a chance to learn and gain confidence. She realized she should do the same, so she said yes.

None of them were correct about the identity of Cherry Blossom. Rita Ora assumed it was Jessica Biel, Robin Thicke thought it was Tracey Gold from “Growing Pains”, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg named Jennie Garth, and Ken Jeong guessed Tina Fey. However, they all ended up guessing incorrectly.

Candace Cameron Bure admitted that her husband and daughter were instrumental in persuading her to accept the role on “The Masked Singer,” despite her lack of singing experience. She explained, “I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so if I’m not particularly skilled at something, I tend to shy away from it.” However, they encouraged her, and after the show repeatedly asked her to participate, she felt like she was being persistently bothered. In a way, she compared it to constantly ignoring someone knocking on your door until you finally open it just to get rid of them. She added that she felt like she needed to do it to put an end to the requests.

The performer mentioned that “The Masked Singer” offers big monitors for assisting with lyrics, and the Cherry Blossom outfit was quite convenient to handle.

She expressed that she truly enjoyed herself after performing, but admitted the show felt like a massive guessing game. When her name was called first among her group, she was quite disappointed. If only she could have stayed for another week to savor the second week a bit more. Nevertheless, she still cherished the experience. She’s really happy she took part in it.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I found myself disappointed when Cameron Bure didn’t make it past “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez. The following week, she had planned to perform “Dirty Pop” by *NSYNC. Unfortunately, the next episode was themed around the ’90s, a time that would have undoubtedly suited her style perfectly.

Reminiscing, I shared that there was an adorable gift box intended for Robin, as Robin and I were childhood sweethearts, you know, back when we were just kids,” she said. “He even acknowledged it on the show, our brief romance lasted around a week when we were about 12 or 13. The ’90s Week’ performance would have been an exciting trip down memory lane for both of us.

In the thirteenth season of “The Masked Singer,” Candace Cameron Bure was revealed to be Cherry Blossom, joining James Van Der Beek as Griffin, Flavor Flav as Space Ranger, Sheana Shay as Bat, Aubrey O’Day as Ant, Oscar de la Hoya as Fuzzy Peas, and Cedric the Entertainer as Honey Pot among the unmasked celebrities.

The exciting event known as “Carnival Night” started off the elimination rounds in Group C, culminating in the selection of two additional competitors who will advance to the final six, referred to as the “Lucky Six”. Currently, this group consists of Coral and Paparazzo from Group A, and Pearl and Boogie Woogie from Group B.

Once again, we’ve got Nick Cannon as our host, joined by a familiar lineup: Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Rita Ora (who is back for her third straight season in place of Nicole Scherzinger), and Robin Thicke.

This season introduces a new enigmatic figure known as “Detective Lucky Duck.” Throughout the series, this character will offer hints and assist the hosts in uncovering the identities behind the masks. Lucky Duck hinted that listeners should pay attention to the correct tone when it comes to Mad Scientist Monster.

Additionally, “Crack the Case” clues are now available, offering extra insights about the contestants who were eliminated. For instance, in the case of Cherry Blossom, a button served as a hint that led to a video featuring Joey Fatone (known as the Rabbit). In the video, he mentioned knowing Cherry Blossom from the 90s convention circuit. She was part of one of the most renowned television families during the 90s decade.

Season 13 of “The Masked Singer” features episodes that pay homage to popular franchises like “Shrek,” “Ghostbusters,” and the Grand Ole Opry as it celebrates its centennial. Additionally, you can expect tributes to the Rat Pack, themes such as “Voices of Olympus: Revelation of the Gods,” “Carnival,” “Boy Bands,” “Decades,” a “Clash of the Masks,” and the comeback of “Soundtrack of My Life.

Contestants hidden in Season 13 are Honey Pot, Space Ranger, Cherry Blossom, Coral, Fuzzy Peas, Ant, Photographer, Griffin, Disco Dancer, Pearl, Bat, Yorkshire Terrier, Stud Muffin, Loch Ness Monster and Mad Scientist for the show.

Here were the performances on Wednesday’s Episode 7, “Carnival Night”:

Yorkie

Song: “Hot To Go!,” by Chappell Roan

Panel guesses: Chelsea Handler, Paris Hilton, Kyle Richards

Initially, I was in a very poor state, but later on, a wonderful lady from Beverly Hills took me under her wing. Now, I’m sporting Chanel and savoring caviar.

Yorkie’s Narration: “Becoming a Yorkie is destiny. We share similar traits – sassiness, trendy style, and let’s not forget our popularity. However, don’t let the high-fashion appearance fool you. Beneath this designer dog exterior lies a bite, a trait we developed as rat-catchers – a skill that came in handy after everything I’ve been through. Trust me, I’ve seen some wild experiences! One moment I’m on top of the world, the next I’m facing my last day. But I didn’t back down. And fortunately for me, music was there. It was my escape during tough times and led me to where I am now. Now, I’m ready to take on the world and claim my spot as the top dog.

Stud Muffin

Song: “Jump Around,” by House of Pain

Panel guesses: Method Man, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan

One of my colleagues once ran alongside a mascot, and I found it incredibly impressive. However, despite adoring the concept, Nick, remember that love is free of charge.

Voiceover of Stud Muffin: “Being known as Stud Muffin fits me perfectly since I’ve spent most of my life enjoying muffins. If I could have any dream job, it would be a mascot because you can get people excited and nobody recognizes who you are! That’s why I’m here as Stud Muffin, representing our team. From the start, I learned that having a strong team is crucial to succeed. However, before we climbed to the top, I was cleaning floors for a living. Then, I discovered my unique skill and my chance at stardom. My crew and I rose from the bottom to the top, but we’ve never forgotten our humble beginnings. Now, Stud Muffin is here to pump up everyone. Because I’m all about winning.

Nessy

Song: “Roxanne,” by The Police

Panel guesses: Gene Simmons, Dan Reynolds, Daryl Hall

“I had a prolonged break to spend time with my loved ones. It’s wonderful to return and find myself welcomed back into the spotlight.

“Joining forces with Nessy seems logical. After all, we share similarities – I too am a humble titan. I extend my support to those dear to me, and there’s an enigma about me, much like the elusive Loch Ness monster, earning me some legendary status. But I value privacy, so unless you delve into the heart of my domain, you may not recognize me among the crowd. Many around me, even my postman, are unaware of my accomplishments. However, this anonymity is by choice – it grants me the privilege of living a life filled with both accolades and tranquility with my loved ones. Now, stepping into the limelight as Nessy, I’m ready to captivate this stage with a timeless melody. Let’s hope this competition is mine to conquer.”>

Cherry Blossom

Song: “Let’s Get Loud,” by Jennifer Lopez

Panel guesses: Tina Fey, Lori Greiner, Jennie Garth

“This experience has been the most terrifying one I’ve had, but I find myself drawing strength from my children’s self-assurance. One of them even loves to perform by singing. However, my legs feel like jelly at the moment.”

To me, Cherry Blossoms symbolize renewal and the beauty of change, making them a fitting choice. This is more than just a performance; it’s an homage to my cherished friend who paved this path before me. We were like two peas in a pod, and she taught me to lighten up and find joy in life. When I first heard that voice on ‘The Masked Singer,’ I knew instantly who it belonged to. Although I’m eager to follow in their footsteps, I must admit I’m nervous – after all, I’ve never sung before! But, taking a deep breath, I believe this is the moment for the Cherry Blossom to spread its wings and have some fun. This one’s for my boisterous friend who left us too soon.

Mad Scientist Monster

Song: “Unwell,” by Matchbox Twenty

Panel guesses: Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton

It’s significant for me since it allows me to present myself anew to my supporters in a manner they haven’t witnessed previously.

Voice of the Mad Scientist Monster: Becoming the Mad Scientist Monster suits me perfectly, because it requires a touch of craziness and an unquenchable thirst for experimentation and self-evolution. That’s why I’m here – let’s go claim this victory! Life can often seem straightforward, promising simplicity, but my journey was not as expected. I had all the skills, and they made quite an impression on the scouts. It seemed like everyone wanted to recruit me for their team. But when it came time for my chance, everything fell apart. They pushed me aside. I felt like I was losing my sanity. But in the turmoil, a new experiment emerged. As the saying goes: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. And my response reshaped the world. I discovered my purpose. So it turns out, I’m not completely insane. I’m just a little bit mad. So come, spend some time, as there’s a strong possibility that I’ll warm your heart.

In Season 12 of “The Masked Singer,” Boyz II Men (representing Buffalo) emerged victorious, triumphing over Mario in the role of Wasp who was the season’s second place contender. They were joined by AJ Michalka as Strawberry Shortcake, Kobie Turner as Goo, Jana Kramer as Royal Knight, Bronson Arroyo as Sherlock Hound, Drake Bell as Ice King, Natalie Imbruglia as Bluebell, Laverne Cox as Chess Piece, Andy Richter as Dusty Bunny, Paula Cole as Ship, Marsai Martin as Woodpecker, Yvette Nicole Brown as Showbird and John Elway as Leaf Sheep in the list of celebrities who were unmasked during “The Masked Singer” Season 12.

The TV show ‘The Masked Singer’ hails from Fox Alternative Entertainment. Rosie Seitchik, Craig Plestis, and Cannon are its executive producers, with Seitchik serving as the series’ head writer. The concept for this program was originally developed by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp in South Korea.
