Jake Paul’s been presented with an offer for a boxing match that could surpass his previous battle against Mike Tyson, and if he emerges victorious, he’d be etching his name into the annals of boxing lore.
Over a prolonged period, Jake Paul, together with his brother Logan and KSI, have risen to prominence in the world of influencer boxing. Originally known for their YouTube content, they’ve transitioned into becoming prominent figures in the realm of combat sports.
Particularly noteworthy is Jake, who has emerged as the standout figure in this specific boxing niche. He’s amassed significant victories against UFC veterans such as Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Tyron Woodley. In November, he achieved his most impressive feat yet by outperforming ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson, which was broadcast on Netflix.
Currently, ‘The Problem Child’ has received an invitation for a fight that he finds impossible to turn down, and this matchup is significant because it involves someone he and his brother share a lengthy past with – Floyd Mayweather.
Floyd Mayweather challenges Jake Paul to boxing match
Since their exhibition match, there’s been talk swirling around the possibility of a fight between the undisputed boxing great, Logan, and Jake.
In February 2025, Floyd appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, stating that defeating Jake, even at the age of 48, would supposedly be a trivial challenge for him.
1) At a gathering of around 4,000 people, Deji landed a punch on you that left you with a shiner. Deji chuckled. In just two rounds, I could knock you out, and even then, you wouldn’t be able to catch a whiff of Mike Tyson’s toe.

Paul countered with confidence, asserting that he believed he could knock out Mayweather within only two rounds. He also stated that Mayweather had allegedly declined to sign the contract for their scheduled match.
According to Floyd’s conversation with US Weekly, he asserted that it was Jake who declined the fight, as he deemed it physically unfeasible for himself to drop to the required weight of 160 pounds.
Jake Paul was given the opportunity to fight approximately 10-20 times, yet he declined each offer,” he stated. However, regarding the weight concern, he proposed a straightforward resolution.
Instead of a genuine match, which isn’t feasible due to the significant weight disparity and lack of official recognition, we could arrange an exhibition fight instead. It promises to be effortless, very straightforward.

Should the event transpire, this bout would unquestionably be the most significant of Jake Paul’s boxing career. If he triumphs, such victory would indelibly mark his influence in the world of boxing.
Mayweather has been in fifty fights and hasn’t suffered a loss. Although exhibitions aren’t officially counted as wins or losses for him, he remains undefeated in any exhibition match he’s participated in.
As for Jake, he boasts an impressive record except for a single instance – a controversial split-decision against Tommy Fury. Currently, this social media personality stands at 12 wins and 1 loss.
Time alone will reveal if ‘The Problem Child’ takes up Mayweather’s challenge, but should he do so, he’d get a chance to conquer a formidable opponent who has ruled the sport for many years, much like defeating a long-reigning dragon.
