Pixelity Incorporated unveiled their latest project – a Neon Genesis Evangelion Extended Reality (XR) game! This multi-part game, intended as a trilogy, aims to recreate the complete original anime experience.
The game’s release platforms have yet to be disclosed, but it has been confirmed that players will assume control of an original character within the world of Evangelion. They will embark on quests, engage in exciting battles, interact with popular series characters, and witness significant events from the original series. The initial part of the trilogy is scheduled for launch in 2026.

In 2015, the “Angels” reappear, and Shinji Ikari, a fourteen-year-old boy from the new Earth, is compelled by his father Gendo–leader of the covert organization NERV–to operate the colossal mechanical-biological weapon known as “Evangelion,” to counter the Angels’ immense power.
Volume 1 of Eva includes a Japanese sound effects guide, along with comments from the series mecha designer Ikuto Yamashita and the well-known “confession letter” penned by director Hideaki Anno during the months leading up to the original TV debut of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
More recently, it was revealed that the game “Goddess of Victory: NIKKE” is set to team up with “Evangelion” for a second time. This partnership will introduce a number of fresh characters into the mix.
The first partnership was unveiled on August 22 and featured Asuka Shikinami Langley, Rei Ayanami, and Mari Makinami Illustrious. Future collaborations are expected to include Asuka from the Evangelion movies, tentatively named Rei Ayanami (as per Level Infinite), and Sakura, Toji’s sister. Notably, characters from the initial collaboration will reappear in future partnerships as well.
Lastly, the first part of the upcoming Neon Genesis Evangelion XR trilogy will release in 2026.
