2024 saw me, Asmongold, relinquishing my leadership position within OTK streaming organization. Now, I’ve taken the leap to fly solo on Twitch once more.
2025-02-21, Asmongold responded to an intrigued viewer who wondered about his current status with OTK (Online Talent Kingdom), the streaming team that began in October 2020.
After a close to four-year tenure with the organization, Asmon shared that he had formally parted ways with the team.
“You got kicked out of OTK, didn’t you?” the fan asked.
Asmon replied, “Indeed, I’m not connected to OTK anymore, honestly. It’s been quite some time. I’m just taking it easy right now. If they have something happening, or if there are other matters, that’s on them. It’s not my concern.
Asmongold confirms political content was behind his OTK exit
During his time away from the industry, the broadcaster characterized himself as someone quite laid-back. He also clarified his departure by mentioning that his political programming played a significant role in his decision to leave.
He pointed out that blending controversial political material with non-political content can be challenging due to its intensity and divisive nature. This makes it tougher to secure sponsors and accomplish tasks for that very reason.
I’d rather not upset others since I believe this path I’ve chosen – for my channel, career, and personal actions – is the right one for me.
Asmongold clarifies that he is no longer associated with OTK, stating that he hasn’t been part of the group for some time.

He later clarified that his departure from OTK was a joint decision made by all parties involved. Even if it hadn’t been, he would have willingly concurred with the choice.
In the past few days, Asmongold’s comments refer to a pair of significant changes experienced by OTK, as member Emiru significantly reduced or eliminated OTK-related branding on her social media platforms on the very same day.

A week ago, the OTK streamer Wake Wilder hinted at significant future adjustments within the company, expressing during a live broadcast, “If we can’t improve things, if we can’t make it a more joyful and thriving environment, then I may need to reconsider my position.
In October 2024, Asmongold chose to relinquish his leadership roles within OTK due to a wave of criticism over his remarks about the ongoing conflict in Palestine. Since then, he has severed all ties with the group and continues to produce content focused on political issues.
