Kick Streamer Furious as Fans Locate Restaurant, Bombard Calls

As ‘Actionman’s’ streamer, I found myself aggravated when my live audience decided to ‘stream-snipe’ me during my recent adventure in Japan. They even managed to call the very restaurant where I was enjoying a meal, causing quite a commotion!

Actionman is among numerous live-streamers visiting Japan next February, joined by popular figures such as Twitch sensation Mizkif and YouTube personality Ice Poseidon.

In contrast, while certain creators have had generally favorable experiences within the nation, others have faced bothersome and even potentially harmful circumstances instead.

On February 19th, Actionman encountered an unforeseen and exasperating situation during a live broadcast on Kick, as he and his companion decided to have something to eat at a restaurant together.

Ac7ionman stunned as viewers find his location in minutes

While conversing with their audience, it appeared as though Actionman recognized the potential mistake he made when displaying Wi-Fi login details to his friend, perhaps inadvertently revealing their location, and quickly tried to conceal it from view.

Moments afterwards, I found myself jolted by the sound of a phone ringing, reminiscent of a busy office line, echoing through the restaurant. The tone immediately sent shivers down my spine, as if an unexpected call could disrupt my streaming session.

“I heard the phone ring,” he explained. “Sorry, my bad.”

Once more, a sound like ringing echoed, astonishing Actionman, causing him to cover his mouth in stunned disbelief as it seemed the audience had swiftly pinpointed their precise location.

He told his buddy, “I came over to hand you the Wi-Fi device, but they noticed it.” Translated, that means, “Someone’s on the phone. Hey man, I apologize, buddies. Honestly, wasn’t planning to do this. Just so frustrating, man.

This incident seems quite unexpected. I must have overlooked it. They appear to be extremely attentive detail-wise. Incredibly, the text on the menu was so minuscule. It’s almost unbelievable, isn’t it? That’s really quite peculiar.

To avoid troubling the restaurant owners during their visit, the group gathered their belongings.

“Have a great day,” he told the shop staff as he made his way out of the building. “Thank you.”

It appears that Actionman didn’t anticipate such results for the company or his channel in Japan, but he’s not alone as many face challenges with streaming in Japan.

A couple of days ago, LordHito and GaganTV streamers from Kick were involved in a minor altercation at a bar with two local individuals. Following this disagreement, they managed to flee the scene, but unfortunately, a scuffle ensued which was captured on camera. During the commotion, one of their phones was snatched.

Conversely, certain international live-streamers in Japan have faced criticism from locals over their actions, like Ice Poseidon, who was approached by multiple police officers following an incident where he plucked oranges from surrounding trees and consumed them.
