Titans Unleash Devastation: The New Aspect That Will Change Destiny 2 PvP Forever!

Following the adjustments made to Radiant Dance Machines in Update 8.2.0.1, Destiny 2 enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the emergence of the next significant PvP meta. One specific subclass appears to be a strong contender for this role.

As a devoted Titan fan, I’m thrilled to share my perspective on why Arc Titans are poised to excel in PvP, particularly due to the introduction of Storm’s Keep in Episode Heresy. This new Aspect, when activated behind a Barricade, accumulates Bolt Charge stacks. These charges can be released by dealing any kind of damage, whether it’s with your weapon or an ability. It’s like having an extra boost to unleash devastating attacks!

In terms of effectiveness, it shines more in Player versus Environment (PvE), but it truly thrives in the competitive arena called the Crucible. With this ability active, Titans can fortify themselves behind a Rally Barricade, accumulate Bolt Charge stacks, and then unleash these stored charges as soon as an adversary emerges.

You might also find it beneficial to employ the Flashover perk from the seasonal artifact. This perk effectively doubles the damage inflicted by Bolt Charge strikes in PvP, making it highly effective. While Bolt Charge is already quite potent, this perk significantly increases its lethality, almost guaranteeing a kill.

In case you encounter an adversary’s Guardian or a team adopting a defensive strategy, the map of Storm’s Keep can seem overwhelming. Given the possibility that they zero in on you, it’s likely you’ll receive a lethal shock. However, fortunately, there are strategies that could potentially prevent this setup from becoming dominant.

How can you counter Storm’s Keep?

At Storm’s Keep, the main vulnerability lies in the brief timeframe before Bolt Charge connects, offering an opportunity for avoidance of its impact. To counter this, simply ensure that you maintain a mobile position.

An additional point to ponder is the need for installing a barrier with the introduction of this novel feature. During its cool-down period, enemy Arc Titans won’t be able to exploit it, thereby offering you a window of time to attack.

It’s clear that one significant drawback of Storm’s Keep is that it necessitates the user to remain stationary. Any movement outside the protection of your barricade renders the valuable Bolt Charge accumulations null. To make the best use of this, aim for a swift and aggressive playstyle, focusing on pushing objectives early to compel other Titans into making adjustments.

These strategies might benefit advanced players more than beginners, meaning they may seldom be employed by less experienced ones. Consequently, Storm’s Keep could soon become predominant in The Crucible, and we can only hope any necessary balance adjustments (nerfs) won’t spoil its fun in Player versus Environment (PvE) gameplay as well.

The new version attempts to maintain the original meaning while making it more accessible and natural for readers.
