Absolutely! The team MongolZ managed to qualify for the playoffs following their impressive victory over Brazil’s paiN Gaming in a thrilling three-game series. This intense battle was truly worth watching as it went right down to the wire.
According to The MongolZ’s Inferno map selection, the match was extremely tight and needed overtime to determine a winner. Eventually, The MongolZ emerged victorious with a score of 16-13, yet this outcome merely tells half the tale.
In the initial extra time, Lucas “nqz” Soares from paiN Gaming managed to achieve a four-kill score while they were only two against four players, which gave The MongolZ a tough time.
In an impressive display of skill, Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold managed to execute a successful 2-vs-1 clutch to establish The MongolZ at the map point.
On PaiN Gaming’s choice of Dust2, something far greater unfolded compared to what had been expected. The match ultimately stretched into overtime before a winner could be determined, and in the end, it was PaiN Gaming who claimed victory with a score of 16-14.
In a stunning turn of events, Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt from paiN Gaming achieved an astounding feat by landing consecutive 4Ks, giving his team the upper hand during overtime. You can watch both remarkable performances here.

In the final round, it was an incredible game! On the third and decisive map, paiN Gaming had a strong start with an 8-4 lead in the first half. However, The MongolZ managed to stage an astonishing comeback on the CT side, winning 9 consecutive rounds to take the match and secure their place in the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 playoffs.
