It’s been confirmed that the mecha turn-based strategy role-playing game, Mecharashi, developed by HK Ten Tree and Black Jack Studio, is set for a global release. Players can look forward to playing this exciting game on Android and iOS devices, as well as on PC through Steam, thanks to Sugarfun Game Limited.
The game you see here was initially created by Black Jack Studio under the name Front Mission: Borderscape for Square Enix. However, complications during development led to a separation between the two parties, resulting in Black Jack Studio keeping the game and giving it a fresh, new title they dubbed Mecharashi.
Following its initial launch in China during the Winter of 2023, the game (originally titled Metal Storm) was also introduced to Japan about a year later, in October 2024, for both mobile and PC platforms. Consistent with the original Chinese version, the global release will retain the Mecharashi title.
