Location of the Troubadours Mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Make your way to Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn, located in the Trosky region, to start the quest. Upon arrival, look for George and Michael seated at a table inside the tavern. Speak with them, as they will express their urgent need for a lute which is displayed on the wall of the carpenter’s residence. Agree to retrieve it for them.

Getting a Lute

Head over to the carpenter’s residence in Troskowitz. Inquire about a lute there; he might inform you that someone had dropped it off for repairs. Unfortunately, he won’t be selling the lute. Your sole alternative would be to consider stealing it.

Bide your time till the stroke of midnight. Display your expertise in lock-picking to gain entry into the house. Upon entering, notice the lute suspended on the left wall. Make off with it and make your way back to Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn.

Handing over the Lute

Pass the lute to George and Michael, but beware, a tipsy individual might unintentionally damage it. Instead of resorting to violence, let’s try to handle this situation peacefully.

Fixing the Broken Lute

If you select “let’s get some new strings”, George and Michael will request that you fetch the strings from Vostatek. Make your way to his residence, which is northwest of Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn. However, before you can do this, ensure that you have completed the side quest “Lackey” (if you haven’t done so already), as the strings will only be obtainable after completing this quest.

In simple terms, Vosatek needs you to fetch some sheep intestines for making strings. You can find these at the butcher’s shop in Troskowitz. After obtaining the sheep intestines, bring them back to Vostatek, who will then craft the strings.

Taking the strings back to George and Michael

Return to Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn to deliver the strings to George and Michael. Upon arrival, the innkeeper will inform you that these two individuals have an outstanding debt. To complete your task, you have two options: either settle their debt by providing 100 groschens or carry out tasks assigned by the innkeeper in lieu of payment. The tasks given are:

  1. Carry a total of 8 sacks from the spot by the barrel cart.
  2.  Dig out the tavern’s latrine.

Once you’ve settled your debts or accomplished the assigned tasks, head over to the musicians and share the positive update with them. In response, they’ll perform a tune specifically for you, thus concluding your Troubadour Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
